In my last post, Tapping Script to Rock Your Manifesting Routine, I shared an example of a new tapping technique I have been experimenting with. I call it Alignment Tapping. It’s a positive form of EFT Tapping to help you to manifest your desires.
Using this technique I recently manifested an increase in income and a new place to live (I had been looking for over a month without success, then I engaged alignment tapping and found a place within a few days).
Alignment Tapping in 4 Steps
Alignment tapping can be divided in to 4 steps. If you have more than one desire you would like to manifest, you can repeat the sequence to address it.
1. Identify Your Desire
In order for this technique to be effective, you must first be clear on what you want to manifest. This is what you will focus on while you’re tapping. Focusing on one desire at a time propels the intention for a successful outcome.
2. Release the Contrast
Before you begin tapping “into” your desire for the first time, tap “out” the contrast (negative thoughts, emotions (fears, doubts), limiting beliefs, past experiences, etc, that might stand in the way of a successful outcome.
Use the traditional tapping method to dump it all out until you feel better. You don’t necessarily have to get the intensity level down to a 0, but you do want to feel some relief. Then you’re ready to move on to the next step.
3. The Setup
Prior to tapping, you need to establish a phrase that that explains what you’re addressing. It focuses on two main points:
- acknowledging your doubts and fears, and/or not yet knowing how you’re going to manifest your desire
- setting the intention and affirming the manifestation of your desire
For example: “Even though I don’t know how I’m going to do it, I intend to triple my income this year.” Or, “Even though I have doubts and concerns, I intend to triple my income this year.”
4. The Tapping Sequence
The tapping sequence is the systematic tapping on the ends of nine meridian points that mirror each side of the body.
- karate chop
- eyebrow
- side of the eye
- under the eye
- under the nose
- under the mouth
- collarbone
- under the arm
- top of head
Begin by tapping the karate chop point while simultaneously repeating your setup phrase three times. Then, tap each following point approximately seven times, moving down the body in the following order:
- eyebrow
- side of the eye
- under the eye
- under the nose
- under mouth
- collarbone
- under the arm
- top of head
While tapping the points, recite a reminder phrase to maintain focus on your intention. If your setup phrase is, “Even though I don’t know how I’m going to do it, I intend to triple my income this year,” your reminder phrase can be, “I intend to triple my income this year.” Recite this phrase at each tapping point. You can repeat this sequence two or three times.
Feel free to mix it up by replacing “I intend” with “I allow myself” or “I say yes to,” and adding other statements that inspire you and enhance your reminder phrase.
Benefits of Alignment Tapping
Besides activating the law of attraction with your intention, there are 4 additional benefits to alignment tapping:
- it raises your vibration
- it’s positive and uplifting
- it’s empowering
- it just feels good
Example of Alignment Tapping
Here’s an example of alignment tapping for an increase in income:
Karate Chop: Even though I don’t know how I’m going to do it, I intend to increase my income to $10,000 a month.
Karate Chop: Even though I don’t know how it can happen, I intend to increase my income to $10,000 a month.
Karate Chop: Even though I don’t know how it’s possible right now, I intend to increase my income to $10,000 a month.
Eyebrow: I intend to increase my income to $10,000 a month
Side of Eye: I intend to release my belief that it’s not possible
Under Eye: I intend to release my belief that it requires a lot of time
Under Nose: I intend to release my belief that it requires hard work
Under Mouth: I intend to be the powerful conscious creator I was born to be
Collarbone: I intend to increase my income easily and joyfully
Under Arm: I intend to allow the Universe to figure out the how
Top of Head: I intend to move forward with confidence and belief that I am capable
Eyebrow: I allow the results to be above and beyond what I even hoped for
Side of Eye: I allow the Universe to surprise and delight me
Under Eye: I allow the inspiration to flow abundantly
Under Nose: I allow myself to follow my inspirations blissfully
Under Mouth: I allow myself to be capable of way more than I thought possible
Collarbone: I choose to believe in myself and ability to create what I want
Under Arm: I allow myself to have an income of $10,000 a month
Top of Head: I allow myself to release the belief that it’s “too big” to manifest
When I tap through the positive statements I get pumped and excited! I start thinking, “Yeah! This is possible! I can do this! I don’t know how yet, but it’s happening!”
