Although you can certainly use EFT on your own there are times when it is beneficial to work with a trained EFT Tapping coach. You might want to consider this option if you are:
> New to EFT
> Feeling stuck and not getting results
> Feeling overwhelmed by complex issues
> Dealing with chronic or painful issues
> Wanting a deeper experience
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), or “tapping”, is a form of psychological acupressure based on the ancient principles of acupuncture. Instead of needles, EFT combines gentle tapping on key acupuncture points and is effective in releasing stress, trauma, blocked emotions, and pain. EFT tapping often works when nothing else will.
How an EFT Tapping Session Can Help You
Tapping with another person can make EFT more effective. Like prayer, the more people you have focusing on the same issue or goal, the more effective it is.
When you are too close to your issue, sometimes it can be hard to find your way out of them. I will offer new insights as someone who is outside the problem and help guide you beyond the obstacles that may be blocking your progress.
The words you use are important. By hearing what you are saying I can pick up on key words in your speaking that you may overlook or feel are insignificant.
I will help you stay focused and keep track of your results.
If you have deep issues that you may not feel safe enough to attempt to clear on your own, I can give you the support and sense of security needed to proceed.
You will be supported in your healing and reaching your goals without judgment.
You will have someone to hold you accountable so you are more likely to follow through on reaching your goals.
I can see beyond your limitations and the beliefs you may have about yourself. I know your potential and believe in you even when you don’t.
Your EFT learning curve will improve dramatically as you learn more about how to make tapping more effective and how to make the best use of EFT.
FAQ
What can EFT be used for?
There is no limit to what you can use EFT for. Gary Craig, the founder of Emotional Freedom Techniques says “Try it on everything!” Click here to see a list of possibilities.
Is this therapy?
Tapping isn’t psychotherapy, and there isn’t a need to relive any trauma by talking about it. Instead, tapping offers the chance to clear the intensity to the point that it’s no longer bothering you.
What if it is too painful to me to talk about my problem?
There is no need for you to talk about your problem if you do not want to. There are specific ways of doing EFT that can be applied in these situations.
Does one have to believe in EFT in order for it to work?
EFT works whether you believe in it or not.
Is EFT safe?
EFT is completely safe and there are no known negative side effects.
What about medical problems?
EFT is considered a Complementary Therapy and as such does should not replace seeking qualified medical advice where needed.
What happens during an EFT session?
We’ll meet online via Zoom. We’ll talk a little about the areas that you would like to experience relief and change in your life. Then I’ll guide you through the tapping points and you just tap along and repeat my prompts. Sometimes you’ll tap while talking, sometimes in silence. I’ll continue to guide you as we go.
How many EFT sessions might I need?
Just like any treatment, it depends on the person and the problem. Some people experience relief in one session. Something very complex may require a series of sessions.
How much is an EFT session? How long is a session?
EFT tapping sessions are an hour long. The fee is $85 per session.
